Our vision
A world full of trees, happy birds and kind kids, where even tiny heroes can make a big difference.
We're Tiny Tree Heroes, a kid-led nature club. We feed the birds, help animals and plant trees, and we'd love you to join us! Start right here: tap the hill to plant a tree.

Hello, tiny heroes. I'm Sprout, the little tree with a big red cape. Every single day I look after nature. But I can't do it all by myself. The birds need food in winter, the bees need flowers, the hedgehogs need safe homes, and our planet needs more trees. So I need your help. Will you join my hero mission? You don't need superpowers, just a kind heart and two helping hands.
Here are some everyday missions. Plant a seed or a tree, hang a bird feeder, pick up litter with a grown-up, and build a cosy home for bugs and bees.
We also have big hero missions all year round. In autumn, we hang bird feeders and make hideaways for hedgehogs. In winter, we plant trees, put up nest boxes, and keep water from freezing. In spring, we make seed bombs and bug hotels for the bees. And in summer, we water thirsty trees, give wildlife cool drinks, and pick up litter.
Our very first big mission is 150 feeders for winter. When it gets cold, natural food runs out for the birds, so hang a feeder near home where you can check it. Clean it every week or two. Fill it with seed or sunflower hearts, but never bread. Then ask a grown-up to count your feeder on our missions page.
Every tiny seed can grow into something big. Trees clean the air we breathe. They give birds and bees a home. They shade us on sunny days. And they feed hungry animals.
And being a nature hero is good for you too. You play in the fresh air. You learn amazing things. You make new friends. And you feel super proud.
Here's my secret. Small things add up. If one hero plants one tree, that's one tree. But if a hundred heroes each plant one tree, we grow a whole forest. That's our 100 Trees Challenge.
So I'm only asking for one small thing. One little act for nature each week. Water a plant. Fill a bird feeder. Plant a seed. That's it. One a week makes 52 good deeds a year.

This is the autumn tip. Add your town for a tip that matches today's weather.
This browser can't read aloud, but everything is written here for you to read.
When you look up a town, the town name you type is sent to Open-Meteo's geocoding service. To get the weather, Open-Meteo's forecast service receives that town's approximate coordinates (rounded to 1 decimal place, about 10 km). Open-Meteo can see your internet address as with any website. We never ask for your exact location. Your chosen town and the last weather result stay in this browser, and the weather is saved for up to 3 hours. We don't store your town on our servers.

Little nature lovers with big hearts
Hi! My name is Aaryaveer, and I’m 6 years old. 🌱
I love nature. I fill bird feeders on our balcony, in the garden and on trees in the park. I feed birds, animals and sea creatures, and I love planting trees.
But I noticed that not all my friends know how much nature needs our help. Birds get hungry in winter, hedgehogs need safe places to sleep, and bees need flowers to visit.
So I started Tiny Tree Heroes to help my friends and other kids learn about nature and look after it too. You don’t have to be big to be a hero. You just have to care!
Will you join me and become a Tiny Tree Hero? 🌳
I wish every kid would plant a tree and help a bird. If we all help a little, nature will smile!

Help children learn about nature and look after birds, animals and trees through small, kind actions.
Little actions, lots of kindness. These sketches show some of the ways we love helping our world.

On our balcony, in our garden, and on trees in the park. Birds need extra food in winter, and they love to visit.
Animals share our world. Being kind to them means giving them the right food, clean water, and space to live.
Trees give us clean air, shade, and homes for birds and bugs. Every tree we plant will keep growing for years and years.
Things we've done to help nature. We'll keep adding more!
Every creature needs something different. Pick one to find out how you can help.
💡 Grown-up tip: wash feeders every week or two, and hang them where cats can't hide nearby.
They need to travel between gardens to find food and friends.
Without them, we would have far fewer apples, strawberries and flowers.
In the UK you might see grey squirrels in parks and gardens, and red squirrels in a few special woods.
Grown-ups: grey squirrels cannot legally be rehabilitated and released back into the wild in the UK, so the best outcome of a call can't be promised. Advice from the RSPCA: injured squirrels and grey squirrels (opens in a new tab).
Turtles, fish and seabirds can think plastic is food.
Small things you do every day add up to a big help for the Earth.
Turn off the tap while you brush your teeth, and take quick showers.
Switch off lights, TVs and tablets when you leave the room.
For short trips, leave the car at home. It's good for you and the air.
A box you use again and again means less plastic wrap thrown away.
Give clothes, books and toys you've outgrown to someone who needs them.
Take only what you'll eat. Peels and cores can go in the food bin.
Nature needs different help in each season. We've opened the one we're in now.
